Remote Viewing
Frequently Asked Questions

Remote viewing (RV) is a methodology originally created by scientists (and a renowned psychic) working out of Stanford Research Institute (SRI) to better learn and enhance the idea of non-local-interpretation - a form of extra sensory perception (ESP). The developed process of RV was then used by the military for espionage purposes beginning in the 1970s and through the early 1990s.
An explanation of Basic Scientific Remote Viewing© (Basic SRV) is a structured method of the above methodologies used to gain data based on scientific protocols, done through several phases, that may allow information to be transferred from the subconscious mind to the conscious mind, to pen, and then onto paper from a distant location or different time. All of this is done with your five senses (taste, sight, touch, sound, smell) without being there first hand.
Who may benefit from Basic SRV©? Most anyone who desires a potential for increased cognitive ability, intuition, memory recall, focus and more. This list may include but not limited to: business enthusiasts, visionaries, athletes, students, artists, health advocates and law-criminologists.
Below: 1) An example of one of my own SRV Sessions 2) A research article on RV, the original program with 'click-on' link and also 3) A FAQ expansion drop down at the very bottom:
Why choose me to help you learn Basic Scientific Remote Viewing© (SRV)?
There are several good remote viewing (RV) instructors out there. With that said there are not many remote viewing instructors. I have to say 'Thank You' to some whom I have had the privilege to learn from first hand including Prof. Courtney Brown, President of The Farsight Institute, and several instructors trained there (Dee Leslie,…). Additional training insights for me came from Joe McMoneagle and Skip Atwater via The Monroe Institute (TMI). Also, several who had been kind enough to go over with me data via conferences and interviews that include: Lynn Buchanan, Paul H. Smith, and Prof. Russell Targ. The last five mentioned all part of the former military and Stanford Research Institute (SRI) program. I hold a great respect for all the initial SRI and military participants and their desire to educate the world about this innate potential that we all may have.
Where I can help is with the ability to instruct and teach. This goes years back with my history as a personal fitness trainer (PFT) and nutrition advocate for over 30 years. Both PFT and RV require a certain amount of discipline by the trainer and trainee. I have learned patience and I realize everyone has a different learning curve. In addition, I have worked as a volunteer for several years at the Detroit Zoological Park to meet-greet and inform attendees about both zoological and paleontological fields.
IMHO, learning SRV is much more important than having a ‘good’ SRV session, and the MOST important thing you may get from learning Basic SRV is that you may enhance cognitive abilities and intuition. Also, in practical terms, you may become more aware of things like a ‘gut feeling’ and 'synchronicity' in your life if you develop your innate abilities. I will say, and many who study the esoteric of human ability agree, that we all have these abilities and/or connections, some more so than others, but this type of training may allow for greater awareness of them.
Can I learn remote viewing (RV) and how long will it take?
I feel, as do most all RV instructors, that anyone can learn RV. Repetition is one key to learning. During my video taped course, this is done. An old study sponsored by the ‘The Office of Navy Research,’ by Charles Ferster and J.B. Skinner, which later came out in print titled 'Schedules of Re-enforcement' (1957, also referenced in Jacques Vallee's book 'Dimensions', Ballantine, 1988), concluded the best way to learn something is to do so employing periodicity (meaning consistent data review over time), with some unpredictability (same data presented in different manners) along with proper breaks. It is also of note that an interest in any said subject is important.
Which form of RV is the best?
This is a common question. Like anything else things evolve, different people who have learned RV began to change things. This can mean accommodating a certain style one may have a strength towards. I have seen people who are better at certain aspects of remote viewing ex noticing numbers, colors or scenery. Some have a stronger propensity to smell things. Others are good with historical events, some in finding locations and/or people. The list goes on. As one practices they learn to find their strengths and weaknesses.
The scientists out of Stanford Research Institute (SRI, Hal Putoff, Russell Targ, etc.) along with a few renowned psychics (Ingo Swann, Pat Price, etc.) created the initial 'remote viewing' program. From there they taught the military people - who then after the official closure of that program (the mid-1990s) brought it out to civilians. Since then several remote viewing practices have come forth. Most all stem from the basis of the original SRI program.
I liken the different remote viewing techniques to that of other skill and training programs. Every baseball hitting coach (or golf coach, painting instructor, voice lessons teacher, etc.) will have a commonality with others of like ilk about the same task. However, each coach might also have a bit of a different take in areas of training on how to best go about getting the desired result. As mentioned most all remote viewing courses have some common features that were once derived from the initial SRI and military programs. Those programs from the 1970s through the 1990s were true and tested. There is no need to constantly reinvent the wheel.
So the term ‘best’ is relevant, and your efforts to learn along with the comfort level you have with your instructor and program are most important.
What is considered a 'Good' remote viewing session and do I need to 'name or guess' the Target correctly?
Again there is no direct answer. A person I respect greatly in this area once said that of 100% of data that is received during an RV Session, most viewers could get nearly 33% 'general' accuracy by simply guessing. Another 33% could have nothing to do with the target and the last 33% is where a so-called success could be found leading up to 50-65% total accuracy which is quite strong.
However, keep in mind, the quality of certain data's perceived, is often more important than the overall percent of data recorded!
Also, it is NOT important to name or guess the Target correctly. Although the Target makes the viewing session fun and is one measuring tool, both the Target and protocols used during SRV are tools used to allow the developmental process to take place.
In a relative comparison; like resistance weight equipment, a bike or even a track - it is not about the tools used but about exercising your faculties correctly. Instead of muscle and cardiovascular enhancement taking place, in this case it is cognitive and intuitive abilities that are exercised.
The jest is you are always describing what you 'sense'. Not trying to name or guess what a Target is. There is a place for that during the process if need be.
How is this Basic SRV Course taught?
One of the biggest challenges of teaching RV previously was that one had to be present with someone else to learn the process. Tapes, books, internet sites, and more have been used - but often the best way to learn something is with first-hand instruction. This was not easy as for years the number of instructors were limited and they were often limited to their immediate living areas. Remote viewing is not the type of Course one simply signs up for at any school then to goes into a building and begins a class (at least not yet).
However, during the summer and fall of 2020 many jobs and school classes were put on hold and due to what went on the idea of 'remote work' and 'remote learning' changed. So, with technological adjustments, I have been able to put together a complete videotaped course of Basic SRV done via a PowerPoint presentation (again complete in and of itself) to go along with live firsthand one-on-one guidance with me ex via Zoom (see *In-addition* below).
(note: The 11 Video Taped Classes cover all 1-5 Phases. Each averaging 45-90 minutes and most are under 1 hour. The videos are complete verbally, have closed captions and are fully illustrated with PowerPoint examples every step of the way.)
My presentations and teachings of Basic SRV have a bit of variety to them. There is repetition for sure and each step comes with a slide sequence that outlines; what you will be doing next, then a slide showing what it will look like, then an example from an actual SRV Session. Then once the actual session starts you mimic the process on the screen in front of you with the same sequential slides only filling in with the data 'YOU' obtain via pen to paper as you follow my visual and verbal instructions. The Target is revealed at the end of each video along with a short review.
Also during this process of teaching basic SRV, I use a theme titled 'Ambassadors to the Stars' (named after the title of the book I wrote). While I could not afford ‘Hollywood Graphics’ and admittedly I am often tech challenged, hence get frustrated with the ever changing platforms, etc. I did get some professional graphic design help during the process (Thank You to BD Design) and I also enhance the theme with simple science decor and add a touch of humor here and there. Do not get me wrong, this course is taken very seriously but I feel you need to have some 'fun' along the way as you learn while potentially developing and enhancing your cognitive and intuitive abilities.
It is fact that the more a person becomes engaged and is interested in what they are doing (without adding too much pressure) - the better chances they have to learn.
* In-addition* You have several advantages when you use this combination method, among them; you can take a Class (ex watch a video, even pause) at any time you want - so you learn at your speed and you still get FOUR live one-on-one Basic SRV Classes / Sessions with me (ex via Zoom appointments) - at NO additional cost! Hence there is plenty of time for Q and A, live learning, etc. This is all at the 'Courses Info-Intro' Menu Link. This is a great combination to learn Basic SRV!
How does one maintain what they learn?
It varies with every person. It is like giving a person a map. Once you go to a location several times, there is an aspect of you that will always retain it. For some people, RV needs to be practiced one time a week. Others one time a month. The answer will vary - but once you learn, you can always re-acquaint a few times during a short period, and then you are back on the saddle again so to speak. It is like riding a bike or learning how to swim.
(note: I will also teach you towards the end of the course how you can remote view on your own.)
Is Basic SRV safe - is there any science behind this idea?
Yes, Basic SRV should be safe for any normal well-balanced individual. However, like many subjects, RV also has its share of folklore and mystery surrounding it. To make things clear one is not 'sending' their consciousness out to another realm of existence unable to come back. You are not giving your mind away nor are you ‘inviting’ anything onto you. Yet, as one of the original scientists said at SRI, "You may be discovering more about who you are." Regardless before each Basic SRV Session, you/we will ground ourselves in protective light (while meditating) and affirm your connection to that of which is much greater (Source, God, light, etc.).
A Bit More
There is no exact explanation of what remote viewing is. If there were it may no doubt change once again in another 5-10 years like it already has several times since its named inception. Perhaps a way to think of RV is that your conscious mind is acting like that of an antenna. Then your subconscious mind (aka subspace, a collective mind, etc.) allows for information that is targeted, to come to you via a type of collective electron entanglement. If you are clear with your conscious mind you may then pick up on 'some' subtleties of information which may often be spontaneous and then record that through a transference; ex subconscious to the conscious mind to pen to paper - that is one way to describe RV.
Theories:
Science has looked into the idea that each one of us may be connected to something larger than we can comprehend (just as many belief systems and spiritual Masters have advocated since the beginning). The ongoing discovery of 'quantum mechanics' by theoretical physicists and other scientists during recent years has brought forth new ideas such as 'quantum entanglement' (initiated by Albert Einstein), electron inter-phasing, string theory, the theory of E8, harmonics, holographics, the development of the pineal gland inside the brain, etc.
Some may say this whole idea is pseudoscience (perhaps it is their job to do so). The fact remains we all understand energy and/or information is everywhere and every when. That an inter-phase of some kind (ex-energy and/or information) may be going on all around us. One example of this is that of some twin siblings. When one person is sure something just took place with their sibling who may be far away - only to find out something just did take place.
(note: see Guy Lyon Playfair, Twin Telepathy, 2002.)
I extended a list of many acclaimed institutions that have studied and continue to study these things in the ‘LINKS' area (bottom of page.) Many scientists and doctors of both the past (also philosophers) and current ex Klee Irwin, Garrett Lisi, Michio Kaku, Nassim Haramein, Joe Dispenza, Caroline Cory, etc. have been and continue to look into the idea of consciousness and its relation to the subtleties of quantifiable matter.
You're Invited !
I invite you to join me in the quest as we seek to go (or perhaps return) to where we inevitably may end up (or perhaps have already been) as we exercise and potentially develop, in a structured and yet fun way, aspects of mind and being while learning and practicing Basic Scientific Remote Viewing©.
